Eagles' Jordan Mailata reflects on team's offensive line losses, London game collapse: 'A week from hell'

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle and captain Jordan Mailata described Sunday’s London loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars as “a week from hell,” after a string of destabilizing events. The team dealt with Lane Johnson’s sudden retirement, the trade of Cam Jurgens, and then lost on a last-second field goal despite the long trip to London. Asked what the Eagles could salvage, Mailata said he was trying to understand how he contributed, noting frustration after being penalized for a false start. He also emphasized reviewing film and moving on with teammates. With a 2-3 start, Philadelphia faces the Carolina Panthers in Week 6 before three divisional games from Weeks 7-9.
