Empire State Building lights up red, white and blue to celebrate Fox News Channel's 30th anniversary

The Empire State Building lit up in red, white and blue on Thursday night to celebrate Fox News Channel’s 30th anniversary. Fox & Friends co-hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, Brian Kilmeade and Lawrence Jones gathered at the Empire State Building Observation Deck to flip the switch and tour the landmark. Dan Rogoski, the building’s general manager, said the network launched on Oct. 7, 1996 and has grown into a major 24-hour presence, covering consequential stories over three decades. Doocy, an original employee, thanked Fox leadership including Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch, Suzanne Scott and Jay Wallace. Kilmeade joked while battling laryngitis.
