Event Horizon Officially Returns In August 2027 After 30-Year Wait

Event Horizon will officially return in August 2027 after a nearly 30-year wait, but not as a reboot or a TV-series revival. Titan Books announced Event Horizon: The Making of the Classic Film, a hardcover behind-the-scenes retrospective by Janine Pipe. The book launches August 24, 2027—nine days after the film’s 30th anniversary on August 15. It will be 192 pages and priced at $50 in the U.S. and £39.99 in the U.K. The publication promises rare archival materials, previously unpublished production photos, original storyboards, and new interviews, with director Paul W.S. Anderson contributing an introduction. Pre-orders are listed via Titan Books’ retailers.
