Festival honouring Dolly Parton set for Nashville and London

Dolly Parton’s estate has announced DollyFest, a two-day festival honoring the late singer’s life and legacy, set to take place in both London and Nashville in 2027. The event will run across two consecutive weekends in each city, with the exact dates to be announced later. The estate said Parton had envisioned an earlier version where she would host and perform, but an original January 2026 event was canceled before public announcement due to health struggles. Parton died at age 80 on 25 August after a brief battle with cancer and was privately buried in Nashville next to her husband, Carl Dean. Organizer Danny Nozell said the estate isn’t discouraging other tributes, but Parton didn’t want a traditional memorial.
