Heartbreak as boy, 9, dies after serious traffic collision

A nine-year-old boy, Kyron, has died after being critically injured in a two-car collision on Masshouse Lane in Kings Norton, Birmingham, on July 28. West Midlands Police said that following the crash, an off-duty nurse, along with police and paramedics, restarted the child’s heart before he was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Despite efforts, he later died. His family asked for privacy and requested that their wishes be respected.
