High School Football Week 4 Roundup: Brown shines in Wayne win

Wayne answered Springboro’s early momentum repeatedly with big plays led by Ohio State commit Jamier Brown, and the Warriors beat the Panthers 41-26 in a Greater Western Ohio Conference opener Friday, Sept. 11. Quarterback Kye Graham went 13-of-19 for 243 yards and four passing touchdowns, adding 53 rushing yards and a score. Brown recorded six catches for 120 yards and three touchdowns, all scored after Springboro cut into the Wayne lead. Defensively, Marvin Williams had 12 total tackles and Brayden Redd returned an interception for a TD. Wayne (1-0) hosts Fairmont on Sept. 18; Springboro drops to 2-2 and plays Northmont at home the same day.
