Inertia co-founder Jeff Lawson's joins Disrupt 2026

Jeff Lawson, co-founder and CEO of Inertia, will join TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 to discuss how his software-founder experience translates into fusion power. Lawson helped build Twilio into a public company and, before that, held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services and as founding CTO of StubHub. Inertia’s mission is to bring fusion power to the grid, with Lawson’s session titled “How Twilio’s Founder Is Tackling the Power Problem.” Disrupt 2026 runs October 13–15 at Moscone West in San Francisco. The company recently raised $450 million for laser systems and mass manufacture of fusion fuel targets, and opened a 50,000-square-foot headquarters in Livermore, California, in July.
