OMD returned to Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Bandstand and delivered what the reviewer described as a near-flawless, five-star performance, transforming the packed outdoor venue into a celebration of synth-pop craft. Andy McCluskey, 67, told the crowd “It’s good to be back again,” recalling earlier technical issues that had caused sound cut-outs and a nearly half-hour delay during the band’s previous Glasgow appearance at the Royal Concert Hall. The set opened with “Isotype,” moved through “Messages” and “Tesla Girls,” then built toward the emotional center with “(Forever) Live and Die” and “If You Leave.”
