Lawmaker suing Musk's xAI seeks order to stop Grok generating sexualised images

A British lawmaker, Jess Asato of the Labour Party, has sued Elon Musk’s xAI in London’s High Court, seeking a court order to stop its Grok chatbot from generating non-consensual sexualised images of her. Asato says users created fake and explicit depictions, including claims involving “chloroformed” sexual assault, after she publicly criticised Musk and Grok. Her lawsuit cites misuse of private information and breach of data protection laws, arguing Grok was designed and trained in a way that enabled sexual content. Court filings say she wants xAI to implement “effective and permanent” technical measures preventing manipulated image creation.
