Major events coming to New York for America 250

New York is planning a broad slate of America 250 celebrations, with more than 200 events scheduled across the state during 2026. Officials emphasize accessibility and education through Path Through History and digital passport programs that guide visitors to historic sites statewide. Key events include Sail4th 250 in New York City from July 3–9, one of the largest tall-ship gatherings in New York Harbor, with Fleet Week programming and surrounding festivals. The FourLeaf Air Show on July 5–6 at Jones Beach features the Navy's Blue Angels, and Old Fort Niagara hosts living-history demonstrations August 1–2. In Albany, the New York State Museum opens Revolutionary New York on July 1—a 7,000-square-foot exhibit with more than 200 artifacts—while Path Through History Weekend on June 20–21 highlights participating sites statewide.
