Man City, Puma equip fans with AI to design 2026-27 third kit

Manchester City completed its 2026-27 kit lineup on Thursday by launching the club’s third jersey, built through an AI-and-fan design process with Puma. The kit was generated using Puma’s AI Creator, which converts written prompts into visual designs, but the prompts came from supporters worldwide. Fans submitted more than 180,000 unique concepts from over 200 countries, and 1.7 million votes were cast to choose the winner. That design, by Elliott, a lifelong City supporter, features sky-and-navy vertical stripes over a white base, echoing the memorable 2013-14 third kit. Puma says it’s the first Man City third kit designed by both fans and AI to be worn in matches.
