Metro-North adds trains on New Haven Line for Game 3 of Rays-Yankees playoff series
Metro-North is adding service for Yankees fans ahead of Game 3 of the Rays-Yankees playoff series. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced Tuesday that Metro-North Railroad will run Yankee Clipper Trains on all three lines, with additional trains on its Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines, for Wednesday night’s 8 p.m. game at Yankee Stadium. On the New Haven Line, two one-seat ride Yankee Clipper trains depart New Haven at 4:07 p.m. and 4:47 p.m., stopping at multiple stations including West Haven, Bridgeport, Stamford and New Rochelle, arriving at the stadium at 6:08 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. After the game, Metro-North will add post-game trains to Stamford and New Haven. Additional New York City Subway service will also be added after each game for capacity.
