Miami No. 1 city for foodies

Miami has been ranked No. 1 in the U.S. for foodies, according to WalletHub’s latest analysis. The personal finance company said the city scored highly for having abundant affordable restaurants rated at least 4.5 stars out of five, along with an “extremely high” number of restaurants per capita. WalletHub also placed Miami at No. 12 for diversity of restaurant types and ninth for the ratio of full-service restaurants to fast-food chains. The ranking highlights Miami’s culinary lineup, including 12 Michelin star-rated restaurants and a two-star venue, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. WalletHub analyzed 182 cities using affordability and diversity, with 28 metrics including grocery costs and restaurant meal prices.
