Mid Antrim 150: Michael Dunlop wins five times on return to road race

Michael Dunlop returned to the Mid Antrim 150 road race after a 17-year absence and swept five victories in total. The 36-year-old, a 36-time winner at the Isle of Man TT, had last raced at Mid Antrim in 2009, as the event returns this year to the national calendar. Opening on Saturday, Dunlop dominated the non-championship Supersport race, then won the Open Superbike contest on his MD Racing BMW ahead of Ryan Whitehall and Keven Keyes. Riding a Scars Racing Ducati, he doubled again in Supersport and added a fourth win by taking the 125cc/Moto3 race. He completed the day by winning the Grand Final Superbike by just under 30 seconds over Keyes and Whitehall.
