Milbank expands defense work for law firms fighting RICO claims

Milbank is expanding its defense practice aimed at plaintiffs’ lawyers facing civil RICO allegations tied to personal injury litigation, taking on at least a third such case, according to Reuters. The new client is Asher & Associates, a small Manhattan firm sued by New York City this week over claims the firm allegedly filed using allegedly bogus injury reports attributed to roadway accidents.
