Modelling scout who 'trafficked women to Epstein' found dead in Paris
A modelling scout suspected of trafficking women to Jeffrey Epstein, Daniel Siad, 68, was found dead in France, according to reports. Siad died of cardiac arrest at his home in Colombes, a suburb northwest of Paris, on Monday, with his body discovered in the kitchen by a 28-year-old woman staying with him temporarily. His name appeared about 2,000 times in the Epstein files released by the U.S. justice department, which said he had regular contact with Epstein from 2009 to 2019, including up to two days before Epstein’s 2019 arrest. In Paris, Siad was investigated for alleged human trafficking. The article also notes complaints by five women in France, including former Swedish model Ebba Karlsson, who alleged rape in Cannes in 1990 and said she identified Siad only after seeing a photo. Siad denied allegations.
