Muscat to unveil four prime seafront locations at Urban October 2026

Muscat Municipality will showcase four major seafront development projects at Urban October 2026, alongside 12 total opportunities presented at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning’s event. The portfolio includes Qurum’s regeneration of beach and mangrove waterfront into a 1,045,775 sq m site, with a 1.6 km promenade featuring kiosks, sea-view cafés and a seasonal market. In historic Muttrah, the plan targets new commercial buildings, parking, public spaces, craft and food markets, and a small hotel near the port. Seeb’s 10 km public beach will become a coastal promenade, while Qurayyat reserves 169,150 sq m for a public park. Additional inland sites include Al Thalath and Bousher Dunes.
