Nashville area high school football teams with TSSAA playoffs easiest, hardest paths

With the Tennessee high school football playoff brackets set, games begin Nov. 6 and the TSSAA championship games run Dec. 3-5 at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga. The article maps out likely “easiest” and “hardest” paths for Nashville-area programs. Among the easier routes, Battle Ground Academy enters as the No. 1 team in Division II-AA Middle Region and could reach the semifinals against Franklin Road Academy or Knoxville Grace, while quarterback Bo Bryan’s health is a key variable. Nashville Christian is described as avoiding major opponents until the title game. Page, the Class 5A defending champion, still faces a potential quarterfinal showdown with Beech. On the tougher side, East Nashville may travel to Huntingdon in semifinals, Montgomery Bell Academy could draw Briarcrest and then David Gabriel Georges and Baylor, and Oakland’s 2026 path is framed as road-heavy, starting at Lebanon.
