Nation's No. 4 athlete names his top five schools
Tae Walden Jr., a four-star cornerback and the No. 4 athlete in the class of 2027, has identified his top five college options, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. His list includes the Georgia Bulldogs, LSU Tigers, Auburn Tigers, Ole Miss Rebels and Oregon Ducks. Walden, listed at 6-foot-3 and 165 pounds, visited Auburn on May 29, LSU on June 5, Georgia on June 12, Ole Miss on June 16 and Oregon on June 19, and is approaching a final decision. He is expected to announce his commitment during the Rivals Summer Signing Day Show on July 1. A commitment would be viewed as a major boost for Georgia’s secondary for 2027 and beyond. Georgia’s 2027 class currently has 17 commitments and ranks No. 13 nationally, with the team also targeting other prospects such as offensive tackle Nate Carson and linebacker Sean Fox.
