NBL 2026: Sydney Kings vs Adelaide 36ers, Bryce Cotton, Kendric Davis, fight, rivalry, result, score, Trevor Gleeson

With 26.3 seconds left on the clock, the heated rivalry between Sydney Kings’ Kendric Davis and six-time NBL MVP Bryce Cotton ignited during Sunday’s rematch at Afterpay Arena. What started as a chest bump and nose-to-nose confrontation led to flagrant fouls for both players, echoing the incident from Adelaide earlier this year. The Adelaide 36ers went on to break a three-game winless run, beating Sydney 84-78. Davis finished with 16 points, five rebounds and seven assists; Cotton had 17 points, two rebounds and eight assists. After the game, Cotton said he is “quiet” until Davis has “something to say.” Adelaide was led by Zylan Cheatham (10 points, 10 rebounds) and Nick Rakocevic (16 points, nine rebounds), while Xavier Cooks posted 22 points and eight rebounds for Sydney.
