The suspect, 45-year-old Juan Luis Estrada of Perris, faces felony hit-and-run and multiple counts of attempted murder.

An officer was injured during the takedown but remains in stable condition. Surveillance cameras helped locate Estrada quickly, and investigators are asking witnesses to come forward as the probe continues.
