NFL injury roundup: Falcons LB Kendal Daniels hospitalized after injury vs. Bears - [your]NEWS
Rookie Falcons linebacker Kendal Daniels was hospitalized after leaving Sunday’s 31-23 home loss to the Chicago Bears on a stretcher. Atlanta said Daniels was conscious and able to move all extremities, and he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta for further evaluation. Falcons coach Kevin Stefanski said early reports were positive. Daniels was injured when his facemask collided with Bears tight end Colston Loveland’s knee on a low tackle; he then rolled toward the turf and stayed motionless for several minutes. The Falcons also lost LB Divine Deablo (arm) and DB Billy Bowman Jr. (hamstring) early. Elsewhere, the Eagles’ Nolan Smith and the Chargers’ Ladd McConkey exited with concussions, while the Ravens’ Rashod Bateman left with a shoulder injury.
