Northern California weekend event roundup: Sacramento-area things to do for Oct. 2-4

Northern California’s weekend calendar for Oct. 2-4 leans heavily into fall attractions, with more pumpkin patches and corn mazes opening for the season. In Sacramento County, the centerpiece is the Aftershock Music Festival at Discovery Park, featuring Limp Bizkit and Public Enemy, Wu-Tang Clan and Cypress Hill on Friday; Pierce the Veil and A Day to Remember on Saturday; and Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Body Count with Ice-T and AFI on Sunday. Also listed are the Sacramento Greek Festival at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Elk Grove’s 32nd annual Giant Pumpkin Festival, and Thomas Rhett at Golden 1 Center.
