REI’s 4th of July deals are offering up to 50% off a wide range of outdoor gear for the holiday weekend. The retailer said it is discounting hiking boots, hard coolers, UPF-rated sun-protective clothing and other essentials for summer, as part of its Deals event. The promotions run through July 3 for an REI gift card offer: buying an REI gift card for $100 or more earns a $10 e-card. Among highlighted apparel discounts are UPF 50 dresses and hoodies from Free Country and REI Co-op, plus sportswear from brands including Janji and Vuori. A REI Co-op 650 Down Jacket is marked down to $64 from $129, with select The North Face items also featured.
