Ross Chastain's race recap in the Chase race at Kansas in 2026

Ross Chastain finished 15th on Sunday at Kansas Speedway in a relatively uneventful afternoon for Trackhouse Racing. Starting 13th, he stayed in the middle of the lead-lap pack for much of the race and avoided major incidents, completing all 267 laps. Chastain crossed the line just over 23 seconds behind Kyle Larson. He led one lap during pit sequencing but never seriously pressured the front-running Chase contenders.
