For the anniversary, a special 60th issue was emailed out as a PDF—an acronym that would likely have puzzled many readers from 1966. The publication gathered 60 personal essays from IT leaders, executives, journalists, experts, and politicians on how technology changed lives. A recurring theme was that tech succeeds when it’s focused on people, including amid ongoing AI debate.
