SMPTE Roadshow to Examine Media Infrastructure at IBC2026

SMPTE will host the “SMPTE Roadshow: Future of Media Infrastructure” during IBC2026 on Sept. 14, running from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Room G-106 of the RAI Amsterdam Convention Center. The program is designed for executives and technology leaders to evaluate where investment in media infrastructure can create operational and business value, moving from strategy to practice across two three-hour sessions. The morning track, led by Pierre Routhier of CBC-Radio Canada, covers topics including the shift from SDI to IP, codec strategy, HDR/UHD/8K, dynamic media facilities, and graphics workflows.
