Soar Atlas Now Shows Skiplagging Flights and Hidden City Fares

Soar’s flight search platform says it has added “skip-lagging” (also called hidden-city) options to its Atlas search results, placing them alongside standard fares. The company, based in Miami, announced the new Atlas algorithm on September 17, 2026. Skip-lagging refers to booking a flight where the connection is the final destination and leaving the second segment empty, which can sometimes make the itinerary significantly cheaper than a direct option. Soar’s guidance highlights practical limits, like not checking bags and booking one-way rather than round-trip. The update also notes airline terms often prohibit hidden-city ticketing and may trigger cancellations, repricing, or account restrictions even if the practice isn’t illegal. The platform cites a 99.7% no-issue rate.
