Springboks crush Wales 43-0 and stay unbeaten in Nations Championship
Springboks crush Wales 43-0 and stay unbeaten in Nations Championship, extending their winning start to three victories in the competition. South Africa secured the bonus-point win in Durban on Saturday, blanking Wales for the second straight match in the rivalry. Despite struggling to convert their clear dominance into points early, including seven actual tries across seven different scorers, the Springboks limited errors even with knock-ons and forced/unforced issues. Wales, determined to face the game’s most physical side, fell behind when Jasper Wiese scored in the fifth minute. Cobus Reinach added to the score before halftime, and further tries came after the break, including Vusi Moyo’s debut test involvement and a first-test try for replacement scrumhalf Herschel Jantjies. With Ben Warren sin-binned and Wales propelling into a 19-0 halftime lead, South Africa finished through Kurt-Lee Arendse and Paul de Villiers. Only South Africa and New Zealand remained unbeaten after the southern hemisphere leg.
