Stop & Shop sells winning $100K lottery ticket on South Shore

A Stop & Shop in Braintree sold a winning $100,000 scratch lottery ticket on Monday, Massachusetts State Lottery records show. The prize came from the $30 scratch game "$15,000,000 Colossal Millions." The game’s grand prize is $15 million, with odds of 1 in 5,040,000. Massachusetts Lottery said three grand prizes from the game were distributed statewide, with one already claimed and two still unclaimed. The Monday results also reflect at least 1,105 prizes worth $600 or more across the state, including 27 in Springfield, 20 in Worcester and 65 in Boston. The Lottery updates a daily list for tickets over $600.
