Talarico Supporters Thought It Was a Good Idea to Heckle an Angel Mom. It Did Not Go Well for Them.

During this week’s midterm rallies in Texas, President Trump called up Marie Vega, whose son, Javier “Harvey” Vega Jr., a former Border Patrol agent, was killed in 2014 during a fishing trip ambush by Ismael Hernandez Vallejo and Gustavo Tijerina-Sandoval. Vega said the family’s day was going “perfect” until the attackers opened fire, killing her son and wounding his father; she then returned fire and was shot in the chest. A report says supporters of candidate Ron DeSantis Talarico began booing and heckling her during remarks about gun-control efforts. Police escorted them out.
