Texas high school football: Austin-area scores for Week 5 of 2026 season

Week 5 of the 2026 Central Texas high school football season moved the Austin-area districts to the halfway point of the regular schedule, with District 25-6A’s “Big Three” all rolling past opponents. Lake Travis, Westlake and Round Rock posted big wins over McNeil, Midland Lee and Stony Point, respectively. Other key results included Cedar Park’s 56-0 shutout of Leander and Rouse beating Vista Ridge 51-28. District 25-6A also saw Cedar Ridge defeat Westwood 43-0 while Hutto beat East View 61-7. In non-district action, Westlake topped Midland Lee 49-6 and Dripping Springs routed Akins 75-0. The Anderson Trojans fell 61-32 at Boerne Champion.
