The reported sexual assault at University of Arizona is the latest instance of alleged misconduct at the university's frats
A reported sexual assault at the University of Arizona has added to a growing record of alleged misconduct involving the school’s fraternities, according to campus documents reviewed by CNN. The alleged incident reportedly occurred during the first week of classes at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house, near the student’s sorority. A woman told police she drank tequila with friends and later woke up during sex, unable to recall whether she was asked or consented. She reported throat discomfort, a bruise, and difficulty swallowing, which investigators described as possible signs of strangulation. Campus police are investigating as at least 15 related reports entered a crime log since August 26. Sigma Phi Epsilon was placed on an activities suspension on Wednesday.
