Used by 85 per cent of UAE workers but they worry it will take their jobs | The National

A new report by Oliver Wyman finds AI is already widely used in the UAE workplace: 85% of workers in the Emirates use advanced AI at work, compared with 72% in North America and 66% in Europe. Despite that adoption, 67% of UAE employees worry AI could cost them their jobs. Still, 42% said they would prefer an AI colleague or manager over a human one, underlining how quickly attitudes are shifting. The study, part of “300,000 Voices – UAE Edition,” is based on 5,285 participants across multiple survey rounds over five years, plus an additional survey of 503 people in April 2026. It also points to limited clarity from employers.
