Whiskey Row restaurant has liquor license reinstated after shooting
xCruzo Brief
A restaurant on Louisville’s “Whiskey Row” has had its liquor license reinstated after a Sept. 12 shooting left one teenager dead and another injured, according to Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control records. Dasha Barbours Southern Bistro’s license was suspended through an emergency action following the incident, The Courier Journal reported. An agreed order dated Sept. 18 between Louisville Metro ABC and the restaurant allows continued operations, including selling alcohol by the drink under its NQ2 retail drink license, but only if several conditions are followed. The agreement resolved only the emergency suspension; separate citations for underlying violations are expected after ongoing investigations.
