Who is Central Wisconsin's standout HS Athlete of the Week? VOTE

Central Wisconsin is putting the spotlight on local high school athletes with its “Athlete of the Week” poll running from now until Thursday, Oct. 1 at noon. Community members can vote multiple times for their favorite nominee across sports. The field includes Port Edwards quarterback Kelson Casey, who went 12-of-18 for 140 yards and three touchdowns and added 152 rushing yards and a TD. Stevens Point’s Trent Breitbach threw 13-of-21 for 167 yards and five scores in a 42-21 win. Other standouts range from Merrill’s Kanin Jahnke’s 271 rushing yards and three TDs to Wausau East’s Liza Chan going 2-0 against top opponents. Winners will be determined by votes.
