About 360 people pull Pokémon-themed aircraft at Japanese airport

Around 360 children and adults took part in a promotional event at Narita Airport near Tokyo to tow a Pokémon-themed Boeing 787 weighing about 133 tons. The group used a 100-meter rope attached to the 62.8-meter-long aircraft to move it roughly 80 meters on the airport premises, Kyodo reported. Participants chanted and pulled together as the All Nippon Airways jet, decorated with Pokémon characters, inched forward. The aircraft is mainly used for flights to and from other parts of Asia. The event was organized by the airport operator, giving attendees a rare chance to tow an airplane and visit a hangar at one of Japan’s busiest international airports.
