Achilles launches Achilles Risk Screening
Achilles launches Achilles Risk Screening reports that Achilles introduced Achilles Risk Screening, a capability intended to provide earlier visibility into supplier risk exposure across broader supply chains. The company says the goal is to help organizations move beyond established due diligence programs that often focus on strategic or high-risk suppliers. It cites growing pressures from financial strain, geopolitical instability, cyber threats, adverse media, sanctions exposure, and rising ESG and regulatory expectations. Achilles Risk Screening is described as a scalable, “no-touch” intelligence layer that combines verified data from Achilles’ network built over more than 35 years with 900+ buying organizations and 300,000+ global suppliers, alongside third-party sources covering ESG, country and geopolitical risk, cyber risk, financial risk, adverse media and watchlists. The tool aims to create a continuous view of emerging risks and support targeted, cost-effective actions. Achilles says customers can identify where risk is concentrated and then transition selected suppliers into deeper assessments, improvement programs, or independent assurance through audits. Mark Chamberlain, Chief Product Officer at Achilles, said it helps customers act earlier and prevent small issues from escalating.
