Ukraine’s air defenses reportedly neutralized 69 enemy drones during a Russian attack on July 4, after Moscow launched 86 drones and two missiles. The Ukrainian Air Force, citing preliminary data from Censor.NET, said air defense forces shot down or neutralized 69 aerial targets as of 08:30 local time. The strike included one ballistic missile Iskander-M launched from temporarily occupied Crimea and one X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile from the Black Sea, alongside 86 Shahed-type strike UAVs and decoy drones. The drones reportedly approached from Russian regions including Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, and Orel, as well as from Donetsk under temporary occupation. Ukrainian defenses involved anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups. Two missiles and 17 attack drones were recorded striking 16 locations, with debris found at five sites.
