Air France marks 80 years of Manchester flights, tracing the first post-war service on June 16, 1946, when a Dakota arrived from Paris Le Bourget. The route initially operated three times weekly. Today up to four daily rotations connect Manchester to Paris Charles de Gaulle, feeding Air France’s network of about 170 destinations across 83 countries. The service is operated by Airbus A220-300 aircraft, delivering a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions and 34% less noise versus older jets.
