Airbus Closes In On 2 A330neo Deals Ahead Of Farnborough Airshow
Airbus is moving toward two separate agreements for more than a dozen A330neo widebody jets ahead of the Farnborough Airshow, with talks involving Flynas and Condor, Reuters reported based on Bloomberg. Flynas, a Saudi low-cost carrier, is in the final stages of procuring eight A330neo aircraft. Condor is seeking to buy six, as the German airline looks to expand after modernization and replacement of older widebodies. Airbus is expected to confirm progress before the airshow period, highlighting renewed long-haul growth for both carriers. Flynas’ first deliveries are expected in 2027, adding to a 30-deep A330-900 order book. Condor’s order would raise its total A330neo position to about two dozen, with 18 currently in its fleet. The deals arrive as Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 aims to expand connectivity and tourism.
