Alaska Airlines Unveils Stunning 14,000-Square-Foot Portland Lounge, Even Bigger Seattle Lounge On The Way

Alaska Airlines is expanding its airport experience with a new 14,000-square-foot lounge at Portland International Airport (PDX), opening June 4. The facility, among the carrier’s largest recent ground investments, hosts more than 230 guests and features private work areas, a full-service bar, premium seating, and locally inspired food and beverage options. The project represents nearly $18 million in investment and aligns with Alaska’s growing Pacific Northwest footprint as it expands long-haul routes. Portland now operates over 100 daily departures, and the airline expects roughly 50% more seats from PDX this fall versus two years ago.
