All flights from Norwich Airport cancelled as strike action begins

Norwich Airport has cancelled all flights as strike action begins at its air traffic control unit. The disruption follows the rejection of a pay offer by Prospect union members, who said the proposal was “insufficient.” In a statement, Norwich Airport said the 24-hour strike means the airport will be closed to air traffic on Friday 28 August and no flights will operate to or from Norwich that day.
