American Airlines Destroys Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller's Wheelchair, Left "In Pieces

Dance Moms alum Abby Lee Miller says her motorized wheelchair arrived damaged “in pieces” after an American Airlines flight from Mexico to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Miller, who shared the account with People and the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, said the device was delivered at about 2:00 AM in a state she couldn’t use, forcing baggage handlers to push her out in a transport chair. She also claimed even the pilot was surprised by the extent of the damage. After landing, Miller posted images on Instagram showing scratches and parts broken off, including the arm and headrest. Simple Flying contacted American Airlines for comment, and a spokesperson told People it apologized, provided a rental wheelchair, and was working to complete repairs quickly. Miller was traveling from Mazatlán (MZT) to DFW.
