Los Angeles commercial helicopter crash victims included a soon-to-be-married reporter and a veteran pilot, plus a tourist from Guatemala. The Eurocopter AS350, operated for NBC4 and Telemundo 52 by Angel City Air, went down Tuesday evening in a business parking lot after providing coverage of a fatal bus collision in Chatsworth, about 25 miles northwest of downtown. Edy Gutierrez Mejia was struck and died; at least two others were taken to hospital with injuries. CNN reports video analysis suggests possible engine power loss and a warning alarm before the main blades slowed. The NTSB is investigating, with a preliminary report due in 30 days.
