Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices rose by Rs 1.37 per litre from Sunday, while commercial LPG increased by Rs 10 per 19-kg cylinder, following stronger international benchmarks, according to state-owned oil firms. ATF was raised to Rs 138.50 per litre from Rs 137.12, marking the fourth consecutive monthly increase. Jet fuel accounts for up to 40% of airlines’ operating costs, meaning the latest change is likely to add pressure on carrier expenses. Commercial LPG was adjusted to Rs 2,820 per cylinder, its second straight monthly rise. Domestic LPG for households was left unchanged at Rs 942 per 14.2-kg cylinder.
