Boeing 777X Cabin Design Choices That Will Redefine Widebody Interior
xCruzo Brief
Boeing’s 777X aims to change the widebody experience by combining multiple cabin improvements rather than relying on a single “wow” feature. Compared with previous 777-family interiors, the arched ceiling removes center overhead bins in premium zones, boosting the sense of space. The fuselage walls are narrower, making the cabin slightly wider, while the aircraft is pressurized to a lower cabin altitude and uses more humid air. Windows are larger and don’t include pull-down blinds by default. Boeing says these choices follow its Sky Interior philosophy and builds on momentum from the 787 and airline feedback that began with earlier Dreamliner wins.
