Boeing Starliner Is Now America's Only Planned Crew Vehicle; Dragon Retiring

NASA and Boeing will hold a joint news conference at Kennedy Space Center at 3 p.m. ET on Monday, September 28, to lay out what’s next for Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner. The spacecraft has been stuck for roughly two years and accumulated more than $2 billion in losses, moving it from a backup “taxi” into potentially America’s only planned crew vehicle for low Earth orbit once SpaceX retires Crew Dragon before the end of the decade.
