Bumper crowd see Penybont victory & Flint finally win

Penybont extended their unbeaten run with a 2-1 comeback victory over Airbus UK Broughton before a crowd of 2,666 at a bumper attendance of more than 2,500—its biggest Cymru Premier turnout in 22 years. Airbus took the lead when Liam Shephard turned the ball into his own goal, but Ryan Hill and Ethan Cann struck in the second half for Penybont. They sit second in the division with 11 league games unbeaten, while Broughton are 10th. Elsewhere, The New Saints stayed top and unbeaten, beating Trefelin BGC 1-3, while Flint Town United won 3-0 at home against Ammanford. Connah’s Quay beat Barry Town United 1-4, Cambrian United edged Llandudno 4-3, and Cardiff Met drew Caernarfon Town 2-2.
