Chicago Bears beat Jets 23-12 as 8 players rise or fall

The Chicago Bears improved to 3-1 with a 23-12 win over the New York Jets at Soldier Field, with several players moving in opposite directions in Week 4. Running backs Kyle Monangai and D’Andre Swift were the standout contrasts: Monangai surged with 30 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns, including a short-yardage score, though coach Ben Johnson said he is dealing with a thumb injury. Swift, meanwhile, managed 58 yards on 15 carries, fumbled, and didn’t return—prompting questions about whether his workload could shrink. With Caleb Williams sidelined again, Tyson Bagent kept the offense moving, going 25 of 34 for 268 yards. The defense, highlighted by Dayo Odeyingbo’s growing production, helped limit the Jets in the late games.
